ETA (1:00 am): Mom said it was very peaceful and she was gone in about 10 seconds. She was ready to go.

Date: 2006-10-24 04:37 pm (UTC)That picture of Taffy makes me think she was a crazy loveable dog and I'm sure she was a wonderful friend to the family. Sometimes, after many years of great times and warm slobbers, the best gift a family can give to their furry friend is a peaceful end. I'm sure Taffy was very grateful that the pain was ending and her family was there to see her off.
I can't wait to see your joy when you are back in the States and Lance comes home with some little fuzzball that you can call your own. Taffy will never be replaced, but rather remembered when you look into the eyes of a new friend.
