When I opened my brother's email, I squealed so loud that I hurt my ears.

That is so exciting!! I have 3 nephews and 1 niece. She was the last one, so I waited a long time. I've been an aunt for 10 1/2 years and it's great, you get to be the fun one and then send 'em home when they're bad.

I must say, that is certainly one perk of not being a parent. I'm usually entrusted with the babies at the family reunion, so that the parents can get some alone time, but as soon as that kid starts screaming, you better believe I hand him/her back to the parents!
