Today has been almost decadent. After being on the go almost constantly since I've been here, I've had this whole entire day to do nothing.

Well...if nothing means finishing a writing project. But I didn't have much to do. I worked on The Itinerant Writer for a bit. I'm nursing a sick dog, who vomited twice this morning and is now pretty gassy. Methinks the steak bone he had last night is to blame. It was slathered in steak sauce. Poor Bucky.

We're going to Findlay tonight...Mom doesn't have to work tomorrow. Huzzah! Time to see Lisa and Dan (whom I haven't seen in quite awhile) and Jonah and baby Marlee (the newest member of our family).

I've been watching Food Network for going on two hours now. Bliss. Now I have a craving for Paula Deen's Orange Brownies (although that seems an odd name...Orange Bars would be more appropriate).

Coconut flavored Hershey Kisses are amazing. I'm sorry I discovered them in the candy dish, because now I might be in trouble.

I think I may try some of my banana bread with the Honey Walnut cream cheese from Panera. Sounds like a winning combination to me.

Ugh. Rachael Ray just came on. My flesh is crawling. *leaves momentarily to change the channel* Ahhhh...decorating show...much better.

Talked to Lance briefly today. The weather isn't getting any better in Germany. It's still pretty cool and nasty there, and it's supposed to stay that way for the foreseeable future. It makes me almost not want to go back. I'm just so fed up with the weather there. I'm worried that our cruise is going to be cold, windy, and rainy.

My shoulders are still angry looking, but at least they aren't going to blister. They might peel though. I really need to remember to use sunscreen.

I can't stand Giada DeLaurentis. Every time I hear her throw that accent on select words, I rage.

Yes, I find that annoying too. But I just loathe Rachael Ray. Everything about her grates on my nerves.

I like Rachael Ray. She isn't as fake as most of the personalities on Food Network. Paula Dean is at the bottom of my list with Giada. Duff is probably my favorite from Food Network, he's awesome.
