*sigh* Five days ago...I was the picture of health.

Now I seem to have a raging case of the flu, or a sinus infection, or whatever.

Those were the days.

ETA: Wowza. Just as I was typing this, it went from sunny to dark and windy and thundery. Methinks we're getting a pop-up thunderstorm. That's okay, I'm staying in today with my Dayquil and a box of tissues.

I hope you don't mind me being forward, but your body looks fantastic! I can really see the results of your work, especially in your toned arms.

Thank you, babe! *smooch*

This is a nice little boost, especially since I've been laid up lately and haven't been able to work out.

Good grief, dude. You look totally skinny! I hope I am doing that soon.

Unfortunately, I don't feel totally skinny right now. Not being able to exercise is incredibly frustrating and bad for my self-esteem.

Those pictures break my heart because the lorikeets look and act so unhealthy now. When they were new, they weren't missing feathers and they were more active. They'd jump on you to get the nectar rather than waiting for it to come to them. Did you see any that had "had too much nectar?" These would be any birds that were sitting on the ground, sometimes with their heads drooping to the ground, looking generally miserable.

That one was the only one missing any feathers, as far as I could see. The others looked pretty healthy. I was expecting them to swarm me, but they waited patiently for me to bring the food to them. One of them didn't even want to eat.

I think I saw a few on the ground, looking like you described.

If only one was missing feathers they might be getting healthier. The last time I was there, about half of them were noticeably missing feathers.
