Just got a phone call.

Household goods are being moved out of the house next week...the 18th (our anniversary) and 19th.

An inspector is coming this afternoon to see how much stuff we have.

We'll have less stuff tomorrow, and I will make sure to tell him that.

Oh my God...this is happening so fast!

Glad I got out of the shower when I did. Now I need to eat a quick lunch. They will be here sometime between 1 and 3.

And I need to find someone with an air mattress we can borrow for overnight on the 19th. ( ETA: Sorted. Andrea is letting us borrow hers, and some sleeping bags.) We leave on the 20th for our house hunting trip.

ETA: The inspector just left. For some reason, he thinks that 3 days are needed. Why? We don't have kids, so we don't have all the extra stuff that comes with kids. It's just the two of us. So now they're coming on the 17th, and I don't even think Lance will be able to be here for that. And he doesn't want me doing it on my own, but I guess I don't have a choice now, do I?

ETA: Lance talked to TMO, because he was very angry about them rescheduling, particularly on a day that he couldn't be here. So it's now Thursday and Friday, as it was originally planned. And I've spent a few hours today getting some more of our stuff sorted, so we're making progress.

We're looking mostly around Kent & Auburn, although we have houses picked out in other areas. But they're all generally in the southeast suburbs.

And we have an agent. But since we haven't met him yet and have only corresponded via phone and email, it's hard to say whether he's good yet or not. Lance seems to be okay with him so far.
