Eva and her proud papa! This little one is going to be a Daddy's girl...I can feel it!

And I can't stop thinking that my kid brother is a dad! In so many ways, he is still just a kid to me. I didn't start seeing him as an adult until I was at his graduation from basic training in the Navy. And I still have a hard time seeing him that way. And now HE'S A FATHER. I just find it incomprehensible.

She has blue eyes, and neither mommy or daddy have them. I wonder if they will change color.

Caucasian babies are born with some variance of blue eyes and then they change color as they get to be a few months old (if they're eyes aren't going to stay blue). C was born with almost navy eyes and now they've changed to a hazel color, and are still changing.

She is part Hispanic too...Mommy is of Puerto Rican descent. That's another reason why I was surprised...I figured she would end up brown-eyed like both her parents. And perhaps she still will.
