Today, I actually didn't take a nap in the afternoon, as has been my habit since we moved into the hotel.

Instead, I had a late lunch with Christine at Cam Nguyen, and we closed down the restaurant...so we walked down to Cafe Schleypen for coffee.

I came back here to the hotel and spent the rest of the afternoon reading and working on a puzzle in my puzzle book (it's an art puzzle, where I have to draw a picture gradually, square by square).

Lance came home kind of late and I heated up some tomato soup for him and served him two cheese brotchen that I picked up at a bakery down the street. I nuked some leftover gyro pizza from yesterday's lunch, but the more I ate it, the more nauseated it made me feel (Sentry Club food isn't that great...what can I say? Plus I ate a greasy lunch). So I ended up having two whole slices and part of a third, and I threw the rest out.

We'll be going downstairs soon to say goodbye to Gaby and Martin. Gaby is really the only German friend I have (in real life, I mean...of course, I have German friends online), and she doesn't consider herself German as much as she considers herself a citizen of the world (she hates speaking German, in fact). She says she will write me...she loves sending letters. And I hope she sends me photos now and then of her dogs, who have adopted me as their auntie.

Looking forward to tomorrow. I'm now feeling very curious as to what Christine and Ruth have planned for me. Ruth is coming to get me at 11:30, and that's all I know.
