Today, we move into the house. We have no furniture, only a radio alarm clock for entertainment, and no food or things to cook with, but we're moving into the house.

Tonight, we'll be on an air mattress and brand new sheets and an oversized throw, all of which I bought at Target last night, along with the air pump to inflate the mattress.

But the movers come tomorrow.

Today - one more coat of paint on the backsplash area. Some areas need to be touched up, but I have small artist brushes for that.

Lance will be going to McChord this morning. I have to stay at the house and wait for the UPS man.

Hopefully, I can take a small nap and then this afternoon, I'll shower and scrub all the paint off my hands, get myself properly coiffed and made up, put on my business suit, and go to my job interview.

I'm oddly much calmer about this job interview than I should be. Maybe because I've been too distracted with this house stuff.

Oh, no internet until God knows when. Lance is having a dispute with Comcast over getting internet set up, so until that gets resolved, we won't have internet at the house. I see a lot of trips to Panera Bread in our future, although perhaps we should try the library at least once so I can activate my new card.

...It's still so weird to me that you guys are already back in the states. It happened so fast! :)

I haven't had time to even think about it. My brain is half in Germany, half here. I suppose once we get settled, I'll finally feel it.

Although I've already had one breakdown.
