Now that the infamous Gertrud (AKA: "Gertie," "Ghetto Gertie" and the "Crap Mobile") has a successor, I also need to give it a name.

Any suggestions?

First of all, it's a Mazda, so it's a Japanese car (I gave the Volvo a Swedish name because it was a Swedish car).

It's sparkly turquoise in color.

So the name can be based off either of those two things, I suppose.

Other things (not relevant, but fun):
- Bose stereo system
- moon roof
- heated leather seats

But the thing I am most excited about...you'll laugh...

CUP HOLDERS!! The Volvo didn't have any.

Anyway, I am at a loss for names, as I never used to name my cars. Not until Ghetto Gertie came along. Lance named his truck (Sara, if you must know), so I figured, what the hell...

Hmmm...perhaps a Shakespearean character... that just came to mind. How does Phoebe grab you?

Congratulations on your new car!!! I can't think of a name so quickly. Maybe something will come to me later. Phoebe is a great name! I have a moon roof. I really like it. I think I like the color of your car. Mine is sparkly also but a very dark midnight blue.
Naomi is Japanese for: above all, beauty
Sora is Japanese for : sky, the color of your car
or Alice or Viola from Shakespeare, just a few ideas right off the top of my head.

Oooh...I really like Sora! I was trying to think of something that had to do with the sky or stars.
