I have spent the day checking things off the to-do list, not that it's made a huge dent.

Applying for more jobs - check.

Putting together new table and chairs - check (kinda)...it looks like this involves drilling some holes, although it was so nice of the directions to say that. There are no pre-drilled holes on it, so that's what we have to do. Otherwise, the table base and the chair bases are all put together.

Screwing on new license plates - check.

Preparing wall hanging for kitchen - check. Although it seems I ruined it. I had a cute wooden tray and I attached a sawtooth picture hanger to the back of it, and the stupid screws that I used to attach the sawtooth went all the way through the front of the tray. Damn. I suppose the only way I can fix it is with some clever camouflage...getting some craft paint and painting a stripe or some polka dots around the edge of the tray so that it will hide the holes. Otherwise, I have to trash it, which would suck, because it goes so perfectly with the colors in the kitchen.

I think I'm done now. There is a giant cardboard box to be hauled out to the garage, but it is rather cumbersome, so I guess I'll have Lance do that when he gets home.

I should think about making a big dinner tonight since I have to fast all day tomorrow for my doctor's appointment. I'm not very thrilled about that. I'll probably be shaky and faint by the time I get in to see her. I'm scheduled at 2 pm.

I'm going to attempt some kitchen decoration tomorrow too. I have a really cute kitchen calender and I want to frame the pictures. Unfortunately they are square and 9x9 so I have to find frames that are slightly smaller and then cut them to size. And then hang them up in a straight line or at least a pattern that makes sense.

You can also just get mats cut to fit them and buy standard size frames. I do that a lot, particularly with odd sized things.

I'm not sure if a square picture looks good in a, what's the word here? Regular frame, I mean. And I have 12 pictures so I don't want to spend that much money on the individual frames.
