I am finally eating! It turns out, I didn't have to fast. Once she looked over my medical records, she determined that a complete blood workup wasn't really necessary. GAH!!

Things went okay. I am supposed to go back for a mammogram and she has me on a new medication (anti-anxiety stuff), so I have to go back in a month to be monitored and see if that works or if something else is needed. I think I really just need a temporary fix anyway. I've been a big bundle of nerves since we moved here, but I think a lot of that will go away the more we settle in.

I don't have an insurance card...I just realized today that Tricare never sent one. So now I need to figure out how I'm going to do the prescriptions. I'm supposed to go to any of the pharmacies around here to get them filled...I just have a little co-pay. All I have is a letter from Tricare saying who my doctor is, but no actual insurance card. Must rectify this situation.

Overall, good impression of my doctor.

I'm glad you didn't need repeat blood test so soon but why do you need a mammogram at such an early age. Usually they are not started til age 40.

My aunt died of breast cancer at age 30. So they feel I should start mammograms earlier because it's in the family.

With history like that, it's good to have an early baseline test and keep testing to eye on things.
