Heath Ledger Found Dead.

He was one of my favorite actors.

I can't even comprehend this.

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod.

Of course, it's all over LJ by now. But for once, I didn't get the news this way.

So incredibly tragic. I was afraid it was drug-related.

His poor little girl. How heartbreaking.

I never read anything about him having a drug problem either, but when someone dies that young for no apparent reason, it's the first thing to cross your mind.

And sleeping pills were found near his body.

Oh my God, I'm shaking. He's been my favorite actor for so long.

I know he split from his girlfriend not too long ago and they have a kid, maybe that had something to do with it. Because his career was going strong, I've been looking forward to the new Batman for months now!

They just showed 10 Things I Hate About You on AFN and I can see my "Knight's Tale" DVD from where I'm sitting now. Very very sad!

I think this is worse than when Steve Irwin died...and that hit me like a ton of bricks.

I almost want to go watch Casanova right now (or any of his other movies that I have), but that might put me over the edge.

I didn't really know Steve Irwin but I remember when Johnathan Brandis commited suicide, I used to always watch him on SeaQuest!

Casanova was a great movie too. I own Brokeback Mountain too.

If I had Brokeback Mountain (I saw it at the cinema, and cried so hard that I didn't want to buy it because it was too sad), that movie would seriously make me lose my shit right now...and I'm already in a fragile state of mind today as it is.

It's a great movie, I wish I could watch it with Aaron.

It really is a beautiful film, and so incredibly ugly of people to judge it, particularly those who judged it without having seen it. It was just so powerful, and his performance was a revelation. Oh the end...the end. My God. If I watched that part right now, I don't think I would ever stop crying.

I haven't seen it and I won't look because it would make me mad but I've read that Fred Phelps and his Church of Idiots made a statement too - and I doubt it's positive in any way.

=( *hugs* It is so sad. The pressure that the Hollywood lifestyle puts on people is incredible. Anything that goes on in their lives is documented in minute detail and it can send anyone over the edge.

The media is even more vicious now than ever. People's problems are becoming "reality shows." Something has got to give.

That is what makes me especially sad. He tried so hard to stay elusive from the paparazzi...and after he died, they waited like vultures outside his apartment building to get photos of his body being taken out.

I was so disgusted. I just wanted news of his death. I didn't want to see his body bag on a stretcher. It's not how he would've wanted things.
