The Jane Austen Book Club is a good movie. Just sayin'. It's been awhile since I read the book, but I don't think the movie deviated from it too much. I could be wrong about that, but I enjoyed both anyway.

The other two movies I got are Becoming Jane (sense a Jane Austen theme here?) and 2 Days In Paris.

Had a dinner of sweet and sour pork and teriyaki chicken with steamed brown rice and an eggroll. Note to self: do not get sweet and sour anything from the grocery store anymore. The teriyaki chicken was good. The sweet and sour pork? Not so much.

For dessert, I got a fortune cookie with a very peculiar fortune that said something about going to the desert for a fun vacation. Oh, and I also had a little bit of my dark chocolate bar from my stash of baking chocolate.

All in all, I have can think of very few better ways to spend a rainy night.

I just finished "Becoming Jane Austen" by Jon Spense who was also like a lead consultant for the movie or they used a lot of the book for the movie or something like that. It was a good book, I didn't know too much about Austen's life, I don't know if you're necessarily looking for a biography of her but I'd recommned this one.

I'm always interested in biographies of authors. I'll see if the library has it.

Thanks for the suggestion!
