I'm not alone in this house.

It appears that we are on the verge of having a serious ant problem.

We had huge issues with this in Germany, and I really don't feel like dealing with this right now.

And I really don't want to spray poisons around my house. I need a friendlier/healthier way to get rid of this problem.

Dave gets them every year. He gets these little ... I call them pods. They're discs that a few ants (or 50) crawl into, eat stuff, crawl out of, and take back to their nest and whammo - they kill the other ants. The best thing about them is I'm severly allergic to all of the sprays, powders, etc that he used to put down, around, and so he started getting those and they have no odor or anything so I have no reaction. And, the dog leaves them alone. I guess she's like, "What? It's a plastic disc. What's in it for me?" They have them for "sweet-eating" ants, and for the other kind -- whatever the other kind is. I think he gets them at Lowes or Home Depot, or maybe even Target. Good Luck!

We got those in Germany. I think I'll look for Terra ant killer because it's come so highly recommended in the past. That was when we had our ant problem in Germany, but they didn't sell Terra in Germany.
