My dog is a wino.

I just got up to assist Lance with something, and put my glass of wine down in the middle of the coffee table. When I came back to it, there was Reece, hind legs on the couch, front legs on the coffee table, lapping up my Reisling like it was Heaven's own nectar.

Thankfully, I caught her before she drank too much.

There's a funny radio commercial featuring a dog named "Pickles," so Lance and I are using that as a new pet name for her. I don't think she likes it.

In other news, my car is in much worse shape than I thought. Lance wanted to drive it down to McChord, and he no sooner backed out of the driveway and went down the street than he immediately turned around and went back. He thinks, worst case scenario, is that the wheel axel is broken. It's possible that the wheel shocks blew out on that wheel too, which would be the best case scenario at this point.

Regardless, it is going to require me to call in sick on Monday and get it to a body shop. And I'll probably need a rental car for a few days at least.

I worked myself up into such a frenzy of upset over this that I gave myself a headache.

Sorry about your car and it is so new! I remember my car getting it's driver door and mirror wiped out within a year of it's newness, by a neighbor kid parking. At least they paid for repairs and a rental car. I hope you find a good shop.

I hope so too. There is a collision center around the corner from my house and I'm hoping to take it there, so they better do a good job!
