prosodicHow have I been on this earth for 33 years and never once went to a drive-in movie until tonight?
Anyway, the situation has been rectified. I had a great time. Definitely want to go again.
And yes, it is a great place to take the dog. I packed up some toys, treats and a to-go bowl and water bottle, and she was perfectly behaved and slept most of the time. I took her out to stretch her legs a bit between movies.
We would still be there, were it not for Lance drifting in and out of sleep during Indiana Jones. He had already seen it. There was no way I could force myself to stay up for the whole thing, so I woke him up and he drove us home. No sense in all 3 of us sleeping in the car at a drive-in when we could do it better here at home.
We're just trying to flush out the warm air in the house right now and then we'll go to bed.
The weather tonight was perfect. Watching movies under the stars is perfect. Definitely need to go back, especially since this is the closest movie theater to our house.
