Busy Weekend

Did a lot this weekend.

Spent yesterday visiting the area around Mt. St. Helens and spent the afternoon/evening in Portland, where we did very little sightseeing except for the insides of bars (the Oregon Brewers Festival was going on and it was crowded, so we opted to try microbrews at bars instead...well, I didn't...I hate beer.)

Love love LOVE Portland. Awesome city.

We found a hotel. We had no reservations going in. Stayed at a crappy Shilo Inn by the convention center which was close to the tram and a Denny's, so it worked out well.

Left this morning and went to Multnomah Falls, drove through the Columbia River Gorge, stopped at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, where we saw a beaver and a river otter.

Now we're back and about to barbecue.

Back to work tomorrow. Blah.
