prosodicJust got out for a brief shopping trip - the first time I've really gone out without Reece since Lance has been gone, with the exception of Sunday's grocery trip.
Picked up prescriptions at Target. While I was at it, got a greeting card, a couple of tops (one casual, one that can be worn to work) and some Oxyclean spray.
Then I went to Party City, with the hopes of finding some chinese-themed decorations for Sondra's cubicle. She gets back tomorrow from Switzerland, but her trip started out in China. So I wanted to do Chinese and Swiss themed decorations, but struck out.
I could've stopped at the grocery store for fortune cookies, but what's the point when I don't have the paper lanterns or a little chinese dragon?
Ah well. Had I been shopping around Chinese new year...
I could get chinese for lunch tomorrow and raid their jars of chopsticks and fortune cookies...
Also a reminder - NO BREAKFAST TOMORROW! I have a wellness appointment scheduled in the break room at 7:40 tomorrow morning and they are going to take blood. Supposedly I get some small snack pack afterwards, but I may just play it safe and bring some of my own food to eat.
