Friday Five
Aug. 22nd, 2008 09:59 pmNo...not THAT Friday five.
1> Poor Munchy was left in her crate all day. Lance was stuck in meetings all day (he thought he would be able to get away in the middle of the day, but he couldn't), and traffic was a nightmare where I was, so I wouldn't have been able to get home at lunch and get back to work on time.
So she was in the crate for about...hmmm...almost 10 straight hours. And it doesn't appear that she even peed in the crate at all. Amazing. I threw her crate pad in the washing machine anyway, just in case. It needed a good cleaning anyway.
2> Grilled out for dinner. The rain finally cleared and summer came back! YAY!!!
3> Put Munchy back in her crate (and stuffed her Kong with this Nutro canned carrot cake treat that as it turns out, she completely flipped over) and Lance and I headed out to Home Depot to look at clearance patio furniture.
How lame. They didn't have ANY complete sets that we liked. We found a box of chairs, which were part of this amazing set that was marked down to $335 from $899. But they didn't have the table in stock. And neither did the other stores in the area.
Stupid Home Depot.
4> Went to Staples afterwards and came home with a great and wondrous thing - the Canon MX850 All-In-One. It's a printer. It's a fax machine. It's a scanner. It's a photo printer. It might even be a panini press. All I know is, it replaces 4 bulky items that we currently have in our office, and clears up some of the clutter. So yay for that!
5> Went to DQ for blizzards. Us and all of the city of Kent, apparently.
So anyway...errands are done. I have lemon bars baking for the company picnic tomorrow. And now I have to go to the Staples website and fill out the rebate form so we can get $50 back on our new wondrous office miracle.
