prosodicLooks like we'll be cashing in the appliance warranty that was one of the stipulations of the offer we made on the house.
Our 20 year old dinosaur of a dishwasher is leaking water all over the carpet along the breakfast bar.
I've never been so happy to see an appliance break.
We'll be calling the Warranty Group tomorrow to see what we can do about this. I hope this means we can have it replaced entirely.
Now...if the microwave would go kablooey, I would be totally happy.
Oh...and the furnace.
Anyway, Lance got us tickets to go to the Mariners vs. Twins game tomorrow night. Twenty rows behind home plate. I have mixed feelings about going...wouldn't be a huge deal if it was on a weekend or something, but with it being a weeknight and having to go to work an hour earlier in the morning...
Well, someone at work will need to bring a cattle prod to keep me awake on Wednesday. All I can do is get to bed early tonight and go to bed early on Wednesday. And I can try and sleep on the drive to and from the stadium.
To make it easy, Lance is taking me to work tomorrow, going to work himself, then picking me up after work and leaving from my office to go downtown.
Lance is really excited, and who am I to spoil the fun? I owe him at least one sporting event (for every arts event he attends with me, I have to attend one game with him)...and I'm glad it's baseball. Baseball is much more fun for me than football is.
So anyway...won't be online tomorrow night at all. Doubtful I'll be online Wednesday morning either.
Still have a bit of cleaning up to do around the house and then I'll take a shower and try and get to bed. I'd like to be asleep before 9, if I can.
