Looks like we'll be getting a new dishwasher! YAY! Sears can't fix ours because none of the parts are made anymore.

Fine with me! Of course, the warranty company hasn't approved it yet, but according to the contract, they have to give us a new one. It might be the cheapest one available, but we want to see what they're willing to pay and then make up the difference in order to have the dishwasher that we want. That is, if they agree.

So that's the best news I've had today.

I got a real letter in the mail today...it was typed, but it was still a letter. Paula sent it to me. It was nice. I don't get letters very often.

My day was horrible...yesterday was too. And I packed my lunch, but one of my thoughtful co-workers insisted that we go out to lunch. We were going to go to Applebee's, but I saw a Nick N Willy's pizza in a strip mall right behind the Applebee's, so we went there instead. So glad we did. The pizza was really tasty. And there was hardly anyone there, so dining in didn't take long at all. Will make that a regular lunch spot. I had a pesto pizza with artichoke hearts, tomatoes, feta and mozzarella...personal sized.

So glad tomorrow is Friday. No big plans for the weekend, but I'm hoping to find the OSU-USC game on one of our channels on Saturday. And we have to go to McChord to do our shopping.

I LOVE pesto pizza. I've been making my own pesto sauce with basil from our farmer's market in Normandy and freezing it. I spread the sauce on the dough, add thinly-sliced tomatoes and a sprinkling of mozarella cheese and bake. The kids love it!

I absolutely adore pesto sauce. I think it's better on pizza than tomato sauce. But when we generally order pizza, we have to get the more traditional kind, because Lance isn't a fan of pesto (although I have made french bread pizzas with alfredo sauce on occasion).
