Today was had unexpectedly decent weather. We had snow/ice pellets last night and rain was in the forecast today, so having the sun out and no precipitation was a little surprising.

I love it though!

Lance and I just got back from Reber Ranch, where we let Reece run around with the other dogs at the doggie playground for about an hour or so. She was crated for a good chunk of time this morning while we ran errands.

We went to Lowe's to pick out our storm door. The one Lance wants is $274 + installation costs. Our gift card from yesterday is $274 and change. So it will at least cover the cost of the door, and the installation is discounted. The door I liked was less expensive and had some attractive details on it that I thought would enhance the look of the house, but the reason why I think we'll go with Lance's pick is because it's a better quality door overall and has better security features.

I imagine we'll actually order it next weekend.

Then we went to the base. Did our grocery shopping. They had a lot of stuff in bulk that we use and was very inexpensive, so we stocked up on a lot of stuff (mostly cleaning supplies). Spent more than usual, but it was still not all that bad. And we won't have to buy dishwashing detergent, Lysol disinfecting wipes, and other stuff like that for quite some time.

Oh...I had lunch at the Popeye's Chicken on base. It just proved to me why I'm a KFC girl. Always have been. Always will be.

I got spammed by a seminary. A SEMINARY. I don't even know that it's an accredited institution or why in the world they would even send me mail. But they would like for me to consider enrolling in their fine institution to pursue a degree in Bible (WTF is that, anyway?) or Theological Counseling.

I laughed so hard. I think Lance was more horrified than amused.

I'm not sure how they got our PO box address on base. I think Lance is more annoyed by that than anything. Whatever. That was my laugh for the day.

By the way, I found something to mix in with tomorrow's popcorn - caramel bits. They were in the baking aisle. So if the popcorn is hot enough, they should get melty.

I have a pork tenderloin going in the crock tomorrow. I have a packet of Lipton onion soup mix. I really only need to add some water, but I'm thinking about a splash of balsamic as well. Not sure if that's necessary, but I have it and don't use it very often and want to get some use out of it. I have some apricot preserves too. Maybe mix all that together? That might be good.

And oh...my "runner's knee" (sarcasm) hurts like an absolute sumbitch today. I've been in so much pain.
