Date: 2007-04-06 02:41 pm (UTC)I also don't get what makes people think it's okay to drink and drive. I guess they figure they are sober enough or something, but IMHO, you shouldn't drive if you've had ANY alcohol...period.
Nor should you ride a bike. You'd be amazed at the number of drunken bicyclists I see here.

Date: 2007-04-07 03:17 pm (UTC)As for drunken bicycling, it's stupid and irresponsible but I view it in the same light as riding a motorcycle without a helmet. It's your funeral and no one else will likely be injured because of it. The main problem I have with those two activites is that a resonsible driver could be charged for vehicular manslaughter or some such other charge because of the rider's lack of resonsiblity. That and stupidity just really bothers me.

Date: 2007-05-05 04:01 am (UTC)We're leaving here in December, but I've posted plenty (mostly FO posts) about Schinnen and traveling and stuff. Three years ago, I worked at the Bookmark. It was an awful job. And they've added a coffee shop to it, so I'm especially glad I quit when I did. ;)

Re: ah, helloo
Date: 2007-05-11 04:10 am (UTC)Yeah...we're returning stateside. The only way I would be willing to do another overseas assignment is if we went to England.
