We had a bit of a thorny issue, as an escalation clause was presented in the other offer, but the sellers wanted us to have it more than the other person, so they agreed to let us have the house if we agreed to match the other offer.

We could, so we did.

And the house is ours. :)

It's in Kent. And don't worry...the wallpaper is going. I can't stand it. I am bringing the house into the 21st century...it's still so late 80's/early 90's.

I LOVE the light in that house! The ceilings are fantastic... You must post pictures as you decorate.

Oh believe me...I will post pics. I want to tackle the kitchen first, but since I'm new to this home decorating stuff, I will do one of the bathrooms first for practice. All I know is, that wallpaper must come down!

And the ceilings are fabulous. Not easy to dust or change lightbulbs, however.
