We had a bit of a thorny issue, as an escalation clause was presented in the other offer, but the sellers wanted us to have it more than the other person, so they agreed to let us have the house if we agreed to match the other offer.

We could, so we did.

And the house is ours. :)

Merci. It's so full of light and space, due to skylights and vaulted ceilings. That's what we liked about it especially.
