God Hates Tinker?

Lance just texted me to tell me that Fred Phelps and his evil minions are picketing outside Tinker AFB today.

So...if you're in that area...be warned.

That is a hate group mascarading as a church. I hate they even carry the "Baptist" name on their church. They are not Baptists. They are con men.

Phelps and company do the most hateful protest they can with the hopes that you will do something stupid and violate their rights. Then they rightfully sue you in court. Is it any wonder so many of them are lawyers?

The church building they took over -- where Fred was originally a Baptist pastor, then the church left, and he got to keep the building, and the name -- was a Baptist church. No actual Baptist church wants anything to do to them, as much as lots of Baptists (not all) are bigots in their own right.

I'm ashamed that they are even part of the human race, let alone that they call themselves Baptists. I want nothing in common with them whatsoever.
